Getting Started with Byrdseed.TV
Your first 5 minutes
You just signed up. Here's how to get going.
- Go to byrdseed.tv and click Sign In at the top right.
- Browse by series. Go to byrdseed.tv/series to see all activity categories: Language Arts, Writing, Vocabulary, Depth and Complexity, Math, Enrichment, and more.
- Pick an activity and press play. Each activity has a video that walks students through the lesson. Most run 5 to 30 minutes.
- Download the worksheet if there is one. Look for a download link below the video.
Where to start
Not sure what to try first? Here are three popular starting points:
- Most Popular Lessons — our highest-rated activities across all subjects.
- Browse by Series — find a topic that fits what your students are studying.
- Puzzlements — short videos that raise interesting questions. Great for warm-ups or early finishers.
Letting students watch on their own devices
Students don't need their own login. You can just play videos on your screen or share a link.
But if you want students to watch on their own devices, set up a class account:
- Go to your Class Setup page.
- Pick a class username and password. Keep it simple since students will type it in.
- Add activities to your class library.
- Students log in at byrdseed.tv/students.
Using it with Google Classroom, Canvas, or Seesaw
You can share Byrdseed.TV activity links directly in your LMS. Copy the link from any activity page and paste it as an assignment or resource.
